WELCOME TO THE RURAL INDIGENOUS PEOPLE’S ECHO (RIPE)

RIPE is an Indigenous People’s Organization working at the grassroots level to contribute for the development, environment, education, health and protection of the ethnic cultural communities  in the Cordillera region, northern Philippines.

It finds its roots in the diverse cultural practices and traditions of more than ten tribal groups scattered in six provinces (Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province) and the sole city (Baguio City).

RIPE strives to find a common ground of understanding leading to partnership with the indigenous people which make up a special population group and considered the most disadvantaged in the Philippines.

RIPE is based   in Baguio City, the melting pot in the Cordillera and the Philippines.
